Faye Rozell, 91, resident of Sentinel, Oklahoma, was born on July 5, 1922, in Sentinel, Oklahoma, to Jim and Lucy (Eichor) Tumbleson, and passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013, in Cordell, Oklahoma. Faye was born and raised in Sentinel. She attended Sentinel schools, graduating in 1940. Faye moved to California, and worked in the shipyards during World War II. She later returned to Sentinel. Faye married Earl Stubblefield in the late 1940’s. Faye later married Charlie Rozell. She had been employed at the Big A Burger and the Sentinel Senior Citizens. Faye enjoyed traveling and camping. She loved spending time with her family, espically her daughter, grandchildren, and her friends. Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Lucy Tumbleson; her husband, Charlie Rozell; two daughters, Janie Morgan and an infant child. Survivors include one daughter: Mitzi Duerksen and husband, Clyde, of Cordell, Oklahoma; two stepsons: Charlie Ray Rozell and wife, Marsha, of California, and Roy Rozell and wife, Kathy, of Carter, Oklahoma; five grandchildren: Dax Trent and wife, Kary, of Henryetta, Oklahoma, Josh Trent and wife, Dara, of Hammon, Oklahoma, Sharon, David, and Gary Morgan; one stepgrandson: Mark Duerksen of Yukon, Oklahoma; eight great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held for Faye Rozell at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at the First Methodist Church, Sentinel, Oklahoma, with Reverand Felecia Hensley officiating and Judith Reeves assisting. Burial will follow in the Sentinel Cemetery, Sentinel, Oklahoma, under the direction of Musick-Varner Funeral Home, Sentinel, Oklahoma.
